Print this Recipe    ANIMAL CRACKERS

1/2 cup oatmeal
2 tsp honey
1/4 to 1/8 tsp salt
3/4 cup flour
1/4 tsp soda
1/4 cup butter (soften first)
4 tbsp buttermilk

Do not grease cookie sheet. Grind 1/2 cup oatmeal in blender a
until fine. Add honey, salt, flour and soda.

Cut in butter. Add buttermilk. Roll very thin, cut with animal
cookie cutters. Bake at 400 degrees until brown (10 to 12 minutes).
Bake leftover pieces too.

If you think you are biting into the animal cracker you know from the store-boy are you in for a surprise! They taste more like a bread than anything! DEFINATELY need more sweetness and more crunch! My advice- Save your ingredients for something palatable!
