BOILED COOKIES
1/2 cup water
4 Tbsp cocoa (or 5 if you want it *really* chocolatey)
2 cup sugar
6 Tbsp margarine
2 tsp vanilla extract
3/4 cup peanut butter
2 1/2 cup "quick" rolled oats
Bring water and cocoa to a boil, add sugar and margarine, simmer
until sugar is disolved. Remove from heat and stir in peanut butter
and vanilla. Stir in oats, and mix well. Cool slightly, then drop
by heaping tablespoons (or larger) on wax paper or parchment, and
chill to set.
