Cornflake Cookies

1 cup Crisco or vegetable shortening, whipped
1 cup butter, whipped
3 cups confectioner's sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla
3 cups all-purpose flour
3 cups walnuts, chopped
3 cups cornflakes

Whip Crisco and butter together. Add other ingredients and mix
completely. Form into rolls and wrap in waxed paper. Chill for
12 hours. Cut into 1/2" slices and place on cookie sheet. Bake
at 350 F until golden brown, approx. 20 minutes.

NOTES : Can be made in advance and frozen. You can also drop
teaspoon fulls of mixture on ungreased cookie sheets, instead of
forming rolls and refrigerating. Method I usually use.
