My favorite oatmeal cookie recipe, March 19, 2006 - 11:17 PM

This is the best oatmeal cookies recipe I have ever tried. These are light and crispy around the edges and soft & chewy in the center with a buttery flavor. I think the coconut is more for texture than taste as it isn't really noticeable. I leave out the nuts and use 1/2 cup less flour. Use a cookie scoop to measure and these cookies turn out completely uniform in shape, look like store bought.
