Peanut Butter Cookies
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup butter
1 egg
1 cup peanut butter
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon soda
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Sift sugars. Beat butter until soft.
Add the sugar gradually and blend until creamy. Beat in eggs.
peanut butter, salt and soda. Add the flour and vanilla to the
batter and mix well.
Roll the dough into small balls Place them on a greased cookie
sheet. Press them flat with a fork (to make the traditional mark
on the top of the cookie. Bake for about 15 minutes.

upon first reading the recipe i was a little sceptical about the method of making it due to the ease of the steps. however it really was that simple to make and the cookies taste great! it is a recipe which in future i will do with the help of the four children aged between two and seven that i care for. it was great!
