PEANUT CRISPS

1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
1/2 cup peanut butter
1 1/2 cups firmly packed brown sugar
3/4 cup sugar
2 eggs
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 cup peanut morsels
1/2 cup salted Spanish peanuts

Cream butter and peanut butter in a large mixing bowl; gradually
add sugars, beating well at medium speed with an electric mixer.
Add eggs, beating well. Combine flour and soda in a medium bowl;
add flour mixture to creamed mixture, mixing well. Stir in peanut
butter morsels and peanuts. Shape dough into 1" balls; place 3"
apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 12 to 15
minutes or until lightly browned. Remove to wire racks to cool.
Makes 4 1/2 dozen.
