Peanut Puffs

3/4 cups soft shortening
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup sifted confectioners sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 1/4 cups sifted flour
3/4 cup salted peanuts, finely chopped
sifted confectioners sugar

Heat oven to 375 degrees.

Cream shortening with peanut butter and salt until light and fluffy,
gradually adding confectioners sugar. Blend in vanilla then flour.
Stir in peanuts; mix well. Shape into small balls. On ungreased
cookie sheet, bake 12 minutes, or until golden brown. Roll
immediately in confectioners sugar. Makes about 4 dozen.
